PROGRAM UPDATE: As of July 1, 2024, there is no longer a requirement for participants to take an 8-hour class. First-time participants can take the 4-hour class and repeat every three years to qualify for the discount.
New and returning students are invited to join this fast-growing Olympic sport. Hall of Fame Olympic Fencing Coach, Ro Sobalvarro, crafts all lessons and curriculum that is used to train the instructors. Students pair up and practice a fencing move or concept, rotate partners and repeat. Students are then asked to mock-fence using only the moves taught thus far.Safety is the first priority! We supply safety swords, protective masks, chest plates and jackets and we practice in a high octane, inclusive environment. Wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes (no sandals). Meets six times.
