Sweet Treats in a Jar

Winter/Spring 2026

Get ready to mix, layer and decorate in this hands-on baking adventure designed just for kids! In our Treats in a Jar class, young bakers will learn how to create colorful frostings and layer their creations into adorable jars for a treat that is as fun to make as it is to eat.

Charlene Bzdok

Charlene is a licensed educator with over 25 years of experience teaching science in a classroom setting. During her career, she's taught a diverse selection of topics - including biology, math, chemistry, entomology, bird ecology, life science, physics and more. In addition to her work in classrooms across Minnesota, she's also taught abroad in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Today, she organizes a range of community education courses to help students across over 30 school districts discover the basis principles of science, technology, physics, and of course, baking and cake pop decoration.
