Antique Appraisal Event
Have you ever wondered what your family heirlooms are worth? Join us for a thirty-minute appraising presentation followed by an appraisal of at least one item per participant. You'll be assigned a 10-minute time slot in the order you registered to have your item appraised. Once everyone has had their item valued, Certified Appraiser David Schlueter will examine additional items as time allows. Examples of items that can be appraised are antiques, fine jewelry, costume jewelry, precious gemstones, all art, and coins. This is for items you can easily carry. Please refrain from bringing firearms or Beanie Babies. Please name the one item you would like appraised on the registration form, and email photos of the item if you can, to estarke@shakopee.k12.mn.us at least one week prior to the event. Coffee and treats will be provided.
Mike Lynch's Minnesota Star Watch Party

Live video telescopes will also be available. Get to know constellations like The Big Bear, Cygnus the Swan, Pegasus the Winged Horse, and many others. Great constellation mythological stories will also be shared. This activity is great for all ages, and kids must be accompanied by an adult. Feel free to bring a lawn chair and blanket to make yourself comfy and enjoy the show!

Intuition and Affirmations for Success and Happiness
Personal and Professional Growth
Intuition and affirmations act as a team to defragment a cluttered mind. Intuition is a partner in the creative force that magnetizes that which we most desire. Moreover, intuition helps deepen our relationships with the people we love, even those who are no longer physically with us. Affirmations, also a partner in the creative force, and are a powerful instrument of transformation. Learn to use affirmations to help quiet that pervasive internal voice that says you can’t, you won’t, and you aren’t good enough. Learn to use affirmations to enhance personal boundaries, boost confidence and self-esteem and create positive change. Learn how to write and use affirmations to enrich your career, relationships, and health. Learn to reduce stress and anxiety and strengthen problem solving skills by employing intuition and affirmations in your daily life. Learn to be more receptive, creative, and innovative through enhanced intuition, and learn to identify signs from The Other Side.

Prepare Your Own Will
Personal and Professional Growth
Who would raise your children if you died? Who will be your personal representative? Without a will, a judge can make all of the decisions. Take charge of these arrangements in this class. You will leave with a simple prepared will and have peace of mind. Instruction and all the necessary forms (including the will form), witnesses, and notaries are provided. Instructor Adam Altman is an attorney experienced in drafting wills. If you are married, please note that each of you must register separately, as you will each create your own will, even though they may be identical. Bring a pen and a valid photo ID to class.
