Container Gardening for Kids

Youth Grades K-12 / Life Skills -
Winter/Spring 2024

We want our kids to eat their veggies, and we also want them to learn responsibility. This class puts the responsibility of caring for a small garden in the hands of our kids. This is perfect for the child who does not want to eat their veggies or maybe loves to play in the dirt. Your child will plant and go home with a small garden container to care for this summer. Their hard work will produce a variety of yummy fresh veggies that will taste so much better than store-bought vegetables. Best of all, they will be introduced to the basics of gardening, the importance of patience, and how to water and “feed” their plants.

If she is not doing one of those things, you will find her in her kitchen making something delicious!
