These classes include a time to play and interact with your baby, a time to spend together in a circle learning songs, fingerplays, exercises, and movement activities. A short parent discussion will also take place during this non-separating class.

Parent and Baby (7-12 months): Join our Parent and Baby Walking Series. This three-week class is a wonderful opportunity for parents to bond with their babies, enjoy the fresh air, and connect with outer parents. Led by an ECFE parent educator, this class combines the joy of strolling with meaningful conversations about parenting babies, creating a supportive community for both parents and their little ones. (inclement weather - class held inside at Pearson vs outside.

Parent and Newborn - Baby Talk is a free class for parents with newborns birth to 12 weeks. The newborn classes will be taught by an Early Childhood Parent and Family Educator along with a Scott County Public Health Nurse. This class is to be supportive to you as the parent - answering your questions as well as supporting you on your parenting journey. Each week will include a facilitated discussion, a time for questions and answers, and time for weighing your newborn will include a facilitated discussion, a time for questions and answers , and time for weighing your newborn.
