PROGRAM UPDATE: As of July 1, 2024, there is no longer a requirement for participants to take an 8-hour class. First-time participants can take the 4-hour class and repeat every three years to qualify for the discount.
This two-part diabetes education program empowers individuals with or at risk for diabetes, along with their families and caregivers, to take control of their health. Hour 1 covers the basics of prediabetes and diabetes care—no diagnosis required—offering essential knowledge and skills for effective disease management. Hour 2 delves into the obesity epidemic and introduces the latest FDA-approved weight-loss medications, Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, explaining how they work and their role in diabetes treatment. Participants can also choose to add a 10-minute one-on-one session with Colleen for $10 to discuss their specific diabetes concerns and needs.
