PROGRAM UPDATE: As of July 1, 2024, there is no longer a requirement for participants to take an 8-hour class. First-time participants can take the 4-hour class and repeat every three years to qualify for the discount.
Sourdough has surged in popularity as a wholesome alternative to traditional white or wheat bread. While nutrient levels are similar, its lower phytate content makes it easier to digest and more nutritious. Plus, the natural prebiotics support gut health, and sourdough may cause fewer blood sugar spikes.
In this hands-on class, you’ll bake a dozen delicious sourdough muffins and take home your own starter to keep the sourdough tradition going in your kitchen. Please bring a quart-size glass jar with a lid and a muffin tin to class.
