PROGRAM UPDATE: As of July 1, 2024, there is no longer a requirement for participants to take an 8-hour class. First-time participants can take the 4-hour class and repeat every three years to qualify for the discount.
Learn how to create your own YouTube content in this hands-on camp! Students will practice shooting video, capturing sound and developing an online presence. In the first half of camp, they’ll discover techniques filmmakers use for better shots, lighting and audio, and practice editing with film software through a class project. In the second half, students will work together on an unboxing or product review video. They’ll edit their project, add transitions, special effects and a soundtrack, then share their finished video. Students should have basic reading skills. Bring a USB drive (at least 8 GB) on the last day. Meets four times.
