PROGRAM UPDATE: As of July 1, 2024, there is no longer a requirement for participants to take an 8-hour class. First-time participants can take the 4-hour class and repeat every three years to qualify for the discount.
Learn the fundamentals of ceramics in this beginner-friendly class. Students will be introduced to the pottery wheel and build skills in centering, throwing cylinders, bowls, mugs, and plates. The class also explores handle making, glazing, and underglaze techniques, with guided instruction and plenty of time to practice and experiment. Meets four times.
