Did you know that the word 'soup' is derived from 'sop' or sup,' which consisted of a slice of bread on which broth was poured? Soup and bread still pair well today, making a hearty, comforting meal for fall. In this class you'll make a creamy chicken wild rice soup and a batch of chewy, crusty bread to bake the next day after it has slowly risen. Bring a large bowl to bring your dough home in and a pot for your soup.
