PROGRAM UPDATE: As of July 1, 2024, there is no longer a requirement for participants to take an 8-hour class. First-time participants can take the 4-hour class and repeat every three years to qualify for the discount.
Shannon Fakhoury, the West Metro Regional Navigator with The Link, will be presenting on current human trafficking trends in the West Metro area. Her talk will cover how to discuss trafficking and exploitation with young people, strategies for staying safe online, and available resources for caregivers. The course fee is offered on a sliding scale, including options to take the class at a reduced fee, pay the actual cost of the class, or pay it forward by paying more and supporting another community member.
