French Dinner Date Night

Send your taste buds on a trip to Romantic France! In this class, you'll prepare a gourmet five-course dinner based on the region of Provence, home to Marseille, Nice, and the Riviera. This region often bases it's cuisine on garlic, olive oil, tomatoes, saffron, and herbs. You'll experience vichyssoise, potato galettes, saffron rice, coquille St. Jacques a la Provençale, and crème caramel. You'll also learn some history and culture of the French Provence region. A $17 supply fee is due to your instructor in class. 

Laurel Severson

Laurel Severson is a former home economist in commercial food service and was a recipe tester and editing expert. She is a long-time Community Education instructor and students enjoy being actively involved in her classes.
