Helping Kids Cope: Tips for Supporting Good Family Mental Health

This is a one-hour class that talks about the developmental responses youth may have to stress. We will discuss five mental health tips for families and resources in the community. The course fee is offered on a sliding scale, including options to take the class at a reduced fee, pay the actual cost of the class, or pay it forward by paying more and supporting another community member. Please choose the option that is best for you.

This class will take place live online via Zoom, in partnership with other districts in the metro area. You will receive a Zoom link via email prior to the class date. Please ensure the correct email is associated with your account.

Beth Lovre

Beth provides education and support to parents of children navigating the mental health systems to help them achieve desired goals and outcomes. She also educates teens on mental health and works with providers to offer family centered driven services. Beth holds a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies with an emphasis in Public Interest from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She shares her own lived experience with mental health challenges and her family's mental health recovery in hopes of empowering others in their journey. She is certified as a Family Peer Specialist and a Peer specialist in Minnesota.
