The newborn classes will be taught by an Early Childhood Parent and Family Educator along with a Scott County Public Health Nurse. In addition, community guest speakers will be sprinkled throughout the semester including a pediatrician, lactation consultant, car seat technician, physical therapist, speech therapist and more! This class is to be supportive to you as the parent/guardian - answering your questions as well as supporting you on your parenting journey. Open Play- SemesterSpecial ClassesPopularTHIS CLASS IS NEW: Open Play - Come and enjoy and hour of playtime with your child/ren during the cold winter months. This open play time does not include a circle time or parenting time. Class with be held in our ECFE sibling care room to meet all ages of children under 5 years. Each class time will allow for you and your child to explore the classroom, join in a circle time filled with songs, fingerplays and motor activities, and end with a separation time where parents will meet with a licensed parent educator to talk about various topics chosen by the group ( based around the development of a 3 year old) while the children stay engaged in play and social interaction with their peers and our Early Childhood staff.Winter Spring 2025

Rays of ResilienceParent and Pre-K Classes (3-5 years)Rays of Resilience: Supporting families impacted by incarceration or loss of custody ( 2.5-5 yrs) Are you a parent or caregiver for a child impacted by incarceration or loss of custody? This class/support group is for you! Rays of Resilience is more than a course, it is a support group for families experiencing the challenges that come with incarceration and/or loss of custody. This course is for caregivers and preschool aged children (2.5-5 years) and will include playtime, circle time and a support group for caregivers. Sibling Care available.Winter Spring 2025
